Performing Actions from Calendar

The Calendar window provides quick access to time entry, viewing swaps and empty shifts, swapping and trading shifts, changing availability, overriding availability for a specific date, and keeping track of leave. You can also split a shift into two shifts, putting one shift on the SwapBoard, and merge a split shift.

To perform actions from Calendar:

  1. Select the Calendar link on the top menu or TeamWork drop-down list.
    Calendar displays options you select in the default format, i.e., Day, Week, Month, or List.

  2. To display all options, go to Calendar > Options. Under Display, select all check boxes and select Submit.
    Calendar window displays your schedule, time information entered, swaps available, leave requests, availability, and events. They are all color-coded as shown in the Options window.

  3. To use Calendar to perform actions, select an option.
    A pop-up window displays possible actions. They may include:

o Creating a Time Card

o Viewing or Changing Availability

o Viewing and Claiming SwapBoard Shifts

o Viewing Leave Requests

o Placing a Shift on the SwapBoard

o Claiming an Empty Shift

o Splitting a Shift

o Merging a Split Shift

o Reclaiming Your Swapped Shift

o Trading a Shift

o Reclaiming Your Traded Shift
